Julie Marie Walk Julie, 65, was born on April 18, 1953 in Canton, Ohio, to Gerald E. Walk and Vioda Erb Walk Geyer. She died on July 27, 2018 of uterine cancer. She attended Special Ed. Classes in Claymont Schools. Following graduation in 1973, she was employed by sheltered workshops in Harrison and Tuscarawas Counties. She loved dogs, riding her bike, working out of doors, tending flowers, being grounds keeper at the Tappan Lake rest area and I-77 roadside rest area, Hennis Nursing Home grounds in Dover and most recently Gift Shop manager at S. E.I. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother Kris A. Walk and her step-father Paul Geyer. She is survived by her mother , brothers Larry (Jayn) Walk of Freeport, Oh., Tim Walk of Tippecanoe, Oh., Brad (Tammy) Walk of Orrville, Oh., and her sister Jenny (fiancé Torey Bowling) Walk of Snow Shoe, Pa., and her dog Cookie. In compliance with her wishes, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church, 633 N. Main St., Uhrichsville. Visitation from noon until 2:00, the service at 2:00, followed by a meal in the basement of the church. Rev. Mark Unrue officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County or First Presbyterian Church, Uhrichsville.
