OBITUARY John Anthony Lucci November 13, 1922 – July 18, 2018 Play Tribute Movie John A Lucci November 13th 1922-July 18th 2018 John Anthony Lucci was born November 13, 1922 in Marronne Del Sannio, Italy to Annamaria Iorio Lucci and Guisseppe Antonio Lucci. John’s father was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Guisseppe left Italy soon after John was born and went to America. When John was 7 years old, he came to America with his mother and older brother Joe (1921-2008) Joe and John entered school at Saint Aidens Catholic School in Jersey City, New Jersey. After high school graduation in 1941, John entered the service as a volunteer during World War 2. He was apart of the Italian campaign, the Red Bull Company D 168th regiment 34th infantry division. After the war he returned home, and went to Saint Edwards University in Austin, Texas under the G.I Bill and earned a degree in Business Administration and graduated in 1952. He moved to Houston, Texas and met his Wife Gracie Zamora on a blind date. They have been married 52 ½ years. John Anthony Lucci is proceeded in death by his parents Annamaria and Guisseppe Lucci, brother, Joseph A. Lucci, Jr. M.D., wife Joan E. Lucci and nephew Dominic Lucci. John is survived by his wife, Gracie Lucci, brother Anthony P. Lucci, M.D., wife Rosalie Lucci, two children Annamaria and John, two grandchildren Christina L. Loveless and Private Gray A. Loveless of 101st Airborne Division 1st brigade 2/32 field artillery. Plus numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation for John will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 6 o’clock in the evening with rosary to follow at 7o’clock. The funeral service will occur Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 o’clock in the morning. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brookwood Community at 1752 Farm to Market 1589, Brookshire Texas 77423. FAMILY He is survived by his wife, Gracie Lucci, brother Anthony P. Lucci, M.D and wife Rosalie Lucci, two children Annamaria and John Two grandchildren Christina L. Loveless and Private Gray A. Loveless of 101st Airborne Division 1st brigade 2/32 field artillery.
