Obituary for Harold Wright Harold Glenn Wright, 74, was born in Scott County, Kentucky on June 28, 1944 to the late Orem G. Wright and Margaret (Mok) Whitlock Wright. Glenn served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Glenn was also a star basketball and baseball player at Scott County High School. Later he attended Eastern Kentucky University and Georgetown College. As a lover of baseball, he spent many years coaching his children in Little League. Glenn loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and playing fantasy sports. He is survived by his fiancée, Brenda Kitchen; his sons Darrell Wright (Danielle) and Todd Wright (Kathleen); grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Joshua Wright, Amber Patterson (Denny), Nathan Wright, and Rylee Wright; two great-grandchildren, Everleigh Patterson and Preston Wright; brother James Dale (J.D.) Wright; a special niece Tobi Florence, and nephew, Chase Parker, and a beloved dog, Pokey, who was his constant companion. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Parker. Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Chaplain Luke Moody. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Brandon Wright, Joshua Wright, Nathan Wright, J.D. Wright, Chase Parker and Denny Patterson. Honorary pall bearers will be Phil House, Jim Richardson, Bill Cassity and Jim Vance.
