Colleen K McDaniel 2018

Colleen K. (Cron) McDaniel, 66, of St. Anthony’s Lane, Waverly, Ohio, died 4:57 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 after a battle of 21 years fighting cancer. Colleen was born May 2, 1952, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bracy Cron and Bertha Agnes (Roberts) Cron. Surviving are a son, Anthony McDaniel and wife Kim of Toledo, two daughters, Anita Barker and husband Richard of Waverly, and Jennie Tucker and husband Shannon of Piketon, six grandchildren, Frances McDaniel, Brooke Thomas, Shyann Wilburn, Phoenix Antis, Cayla Axel, and Jonathon Howe, several great-grandchildren, three sisters, Jennie Baker and husband Charles of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Sylvia Denman of Flat Rock, Michigan, and Carol Eldridge of Greenfield, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Harry, Marvin, and Thomas Cron, a sister, Juanita Nichols and son-in-law, James Antis. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Elder Therman Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Tuesday. A special thank you for the care provided by the home health caretakers, Bristol Village nurses and aides, and Bristol Village Hospice.
