Clifford A. Plummer, 79, of East Liverpool, went to be with his Lord and Savior following a lengthy illness on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Born, June 1, 1939, in Steubenville, he was a son of the late Clarence J. and Helen Yurko Plummer. Clifford was retired from Homer Laughlin China Company, where he worked as a packer for 54 years. He was a member of Campground Community Church and he was recently recognized as Elder-Emeritus. Clifford enjoyed spending time with his family and drawing pictures for his grandchildren and signing them “Artist Pappy Plummer”. He was the sweetest and most genuine person you could ever meet. When Clifford was in hospital care he would ask his nurses to pray with him. Clifford wouldn’t pray for himself he would pray for his nurses. He was always thinking of others before himself. Clifford will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Nina Boswell Plummer; daughters, Vickie Owens and her husband Bruce of East Liverpool and Judy Mouse of East Liverpool; brother, William Plummer of Springhill, FL., his grandchildren, Jonathan Owens (Amanda), Breann Thompson (Hunter), David Mouse and Sara Mouse; and his great-grandchildren, Connor Owens and Weston Thompson. Pastor Tom Adkins will celebrate Clifford’s life, Friday, July 6, 2018, at 1:30 PM, at the Campground Community Church. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 5, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Clifford A Plummer June 1 1939 July 1 2018 (age 79). Arner Funeral Chapels Inc
