Obituary for Cathy L. Bomgardner Cathy L. Bomgardner, 60, of Lebanon, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Penn State M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Harvey E. Bomgardner, with whom she celebrated 40 years in marriage. Cathy was born in Lancaster on December 21, 1957 to Charles Dodson of Cornwall and the late Jean (Diem) Dodson. Cathy had attended Messiah College. She had worked as a real estate agent and was a member of the PA and Lebanon Association of Realtors. She had also been a dairy farmer, having worked on the family farm in Lebanon. She was an active member of St. John’s EC Church where she filled many roles. She was a member of Farm Women, and had been on the extension board, a 4-H leader and, she had been a 25 year Land O Lakes member. She enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, quilting, cooking, visiting and helping those in need. Cathy’s greatest love was her family. Spending time with her family and going to her grandchildren’s activities were her greatest love. Surviving in addition to her father and her husband are her children, Melinda and husband Matthew Hossler, Hannah and her husband Jacob Walmer, Joel Bomgardner and his wife Greta, grandchildren, Katelyn, Brianna, Juliet, Georgia, and Ellen, siblings, William Dodson, Carole Shirk, Cherie Myers, and Connie Blauch. Cathy also had two grandchildren on the way. Cathy’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11AM at St. John’s E.C. Church – Grove, 683 Steelstown Road, Annville. Interment will be in St. John’s E.C. Church Cemetery, Annville. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday evening, July 24, 2018 from 6PM-9PM at the church and again on Wednesday morning from 10AM – 11AM at the church.
