Obituary for Carlos Nicolas Garza Jr. CARLOS NICOLAS GARZA, JR. PHARR – Carlos Nicolas Garza, Jr., 51, went home to our Lord Friday, June 29, 2018, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Garza was born in Edinburg and lived in Pharr most of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Nicolas Garza, Sr.; and brother, Jose Dolores Garza. Mr. Garza is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Adelita Garza; four children, Clarissa, Ariana, Analyza, and Isaak Garza, all of Pharr; mother, Evangelina Casas Garza of Edinburg; three sisters, Marina Garza of Edinburg, Maricela (Lee) Lozano of Sandia, TX, Candelaria Garza of Edinburg; sister-in-law, Linda Sandoval Garza of Crystal City, TX; and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg, 208 E. Canton. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Eric Garcia, Kevin Garza, Victor Palacios, Jerry Casas, Lee Lozano, and Rigoberto Hinojosa. Honorary pallbearers will be Isaak Garza, Sabastian Nieto, Raul Esparza, and Jerry Jackson. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
