Bobby L. Rue Sr. Lansing Passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at age 83. Born February 22, 1935 to Francis and Julia (Woodson) Rue in Chattanooga, TN. Bobby retired from William H. Kelly Company in Lansing. He enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards, woodworking, watching his westerns on T.V. and bowling. While living in Los Angeles, California he and his wife Edna were bowling coaches for youth kids. Most of all he enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially that of his grandchildren. Preceding him in death were an infant daughter, Angela Rue; son, Bobby Rue Jr.; 3 sisters, his parents and dog, Mocha. Surviving are his wife, Edna Rue; daughter, Pam (Roy) Taylor; 6 grandchildren, Bobby (Christie) Rue III, Jennifer Taylor, Anthony (Carrie) Rue, Joshua (Kristi) Taylor, Matt Rue, Jody (Sonny) Villwock; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild as well as his dog, Nicki. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Visitation will start Thursday at 11am. To share memories and condolences please visit
