Obituary for Beulah L. Hunsberger Beulah L. “Mamaw Budy” Hunsberger, 94, Wakarusa, died 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born Feb. 27, 1924 in Elkhart County to Elmer L. & Emma Mabel (Nettrouer) Hygema. Beulah married Robert Hunsberger on July 5, 1947 and he died April 5, 1996. Surviving are daughters, Jeanne (Dean) Gongwer, Connie (Kenneth) Morningstar, Cassie (Bill) Stamper, all of Wakarusa, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Wilson, Kentucky. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, sisters, Edna Hygema & Betty Lou Hygema and a brother, Roscoe Hygema. Beulah was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Wakarusa. She loved her family and friends very much. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, July 2, 2018, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor Dave Engbrecht will officiate and burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
