Obituary for Betty Lue Lydia Smith Smith, BettyLou L. Having led a full life during her 94 years, BettyLou passed into the loving arms of Jesus, Tues. July 24th. She was known to many as “Bizzy Betty” for her energy and “go-for-it” approach to life. She was famous for her strawberry pies and being a dedicated MN Twins fan. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl Bensen; husband, Wallace M. Smith; and infant son, Dennis Paul. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Wing (Barry), Donna Dobis, Cindy Carlson (Rob), sister, Lorraine Bensen, 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Presbyterian Homes and Services Foundation/Memory Care, 16205 36th Ave. N. Plymouth, MN 55446. Service will be held 10:30 am, Tues.
