Obituary for Barbara Baratta (Quinn) Barbara Baratta (nee Quinn), 86, of Wood-Ridge for over 50 years, passed away at home on June 29, 2018. For 10 years, she was a crossing guard in Wood-Ridge then following that she worked in the cafeteria at Wood-Ridge High School for 20 years, retiring in the 1990’s. Barbara was a parishioner of Assumption Church and a member of the Wood-Ridge V.F.W. Post 3616 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a huge Giants fan, enjoyed watching Law & Order SVU and loved cooking and caring for her family. Beloved wife of the late Francis P. Baratta. Loving mother of Angela Lewis and her husband Robert, Francis H. Baratta and Michael Baratta and his wife Donna. Cherished grandmother of Justin and Josh and great grandmother of Justino. Dear sister of Joseph Quinn, Michael Quinn and the late Frances Checko and Rose Walker. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in Assumption Church, Wood-Ridge at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visitation Sunday evening 6-8 PM and Monday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to John Theurer Cancer Center, c/o H.U.M.C., 20 Prospect Ave., Suite 400 Hackensack, NJ 07601 or www.hackensackumc.org.
