Arvinia Martin 2018

Arvinia Martin, age 64, of Bowling Green, formally of Todd County, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Calhoun, Kentucky May 5, 1954 to the late Estil Martin and Eda Belle Hildabrand Martin. She was employed as a Nurse with the Medical Center in Bowling Green for 38 years and retired as Director of Nursing at Medco Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green. She was a graduate of the Glasgow School of Nursing and attended Promise Land Church. She is survived by: 2 Sons – Chipley Martin – Bowling Green Michael Martin – Boyce, Kentucky 3 Grandchildren – Makaylah Martin, Eadianna Martin and Anthony Gilbo 1 Great Grandchild – Jaiden Martin Funeral Services for Arvinia Martin will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Johnny Shoemake officiating. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting until time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to Mended Hearts, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
