Ann Gertrude Wierichs Oerichbauer, age 94, a lifelong area resident passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Milestone Senior Living in Eagle River, WI. Ann was born on July 29 1923 in Conover, WI to George and Ann Wierichs. She was one of nine children. Ann attended school at Conover Graded School and later attended Eagle River Union High School. She was also a member of the Phelps Senior Center for many years where she enjoyed meals with Bill, playing cards and bingo. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, on January 12, 2007, her parents, sisters: Louise, Frances, Genevieve and Elizabeth; and brothers:George and Louis “Bud.” She is survived by her children: Janet Valeria of Eagle River, WI, Bill (Gladys) Oerichbauer of Brookfiled, WI, Edgar Oerichbauer of International Falls, MN and Dawn (Kevin Pellone) Oerichbauer of Helotes, TX; brother: James Wierichs of Eagle River, WI; Ruth Blaisdell of Boulder Junction; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces; and nephews. A family graveside service was held at the St. Peter Cemetery in Eagle River, WI.
