William George Waigle 1948 2018

Obituary of William Waigle William “Bill” Waigle, age 69 died peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in his home in Jasper. Bill was born the youngest of four children on June 30, 1948 in Pigeon, Michigan to George and Gertrude (Koch) Waigle. The family moved to Blissfield when Bill was five. Loving the outdoors his passions including hunting, fishing, cutting wood and collecting large rocks. He had been Turkey hunting the day before he died. He enjoyed his home in the country and being surrounded by his animals and his hobbies. He was a unique individual and lived life on his own terms. Surviving is his sister, Phyllis Cornell of Tucson AZ; three nieces, Kelly Armstrong, Jewel (Jeff) Waigle Smith and Shannon (Jake) Seiser; two nephews, Shane (Danielle) Waigle and Scott Cornell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Gretchen Pagel, his brothers Tom and Jim Waigle and a nephew, Matthew Cornell. Bill will be remembered by many as a humanitarian with compassion for older people and disadvantaged children. Following Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial is being planned to honor Bill. Condolences may be given to his family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com .
