Obituary for William “Bill” Chamblee William Howard “Bill” Chamblee, 60, of Byron passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Funeral services to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home; 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service, starting at 2:00, in the funeral home. Bill was born in Macon and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was later employed by Prince Service & Manufacturing Co., he also worked with Mid-State RV Center in Byron as an ASE Double Master Technician of heavy equipment. Bill is preceded in death by his mother; Ramona Lewis Dobbs of Barnesville, his father; Howard Lee Chamblee of Macon, and his grandmother; Barbara Chamblee of Macon. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Rebecca Shores Chamblee and his Kitties, a sister; Vickie S. Norberg of Hilton Head, SC., as well as three brothers: Buddy Chamblee of Macon, Jimmy L Chamblee of Roberta, and Bob Chamblee of Jones County.
