Obituary for Sandra M. Tobias Sandra M. Tobias, age 84, of Manassas, Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Sentara Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. She was born on October 8, 1933 in Patterson, NJ and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Harriett (Schwartz) Miller. She retired as Executive Assistant to the President of Blue Cross/Blue Shield CapitalCare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Filbert Tobias, a daughter, Toby Lynn Tobias and great grandson, Micah Aedan Haselton. Survivors include two children, Cheryl Zapien and husband Ronald as well as Dr. Rickie Simpson and husband Bruce. Her surviving grandchildren are Benjamin Zapien and his wife Ashley, Ilissa Krainess and her husband Matthew, Helena Pedersen and her husband Matthew, Laura Haselton and her husband Matthew and Joseph Simpson. Her surviving great grandchildren are Audrey Grace Haselton, Olivia Clare Haselton, Mia Catherine Zapien, Macy Zapien and Caleb Leiken Krainess. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Henry Tobias.
