Ronald B. Sampson, 79, of Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born in Providence, RI, he was the husband of the late Lynne M. (Olsson) Sampson and the son of the late Arthur and Florence (Dickerson) Sampson. Ronald was a driver salesman for Homestead Baking Company, Rumford, RI, also known as Mrs. Kavanagh’s for twelve years. He also was a driver for Wise Potato Chips Company. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Ronald is survived by two sons; Daniel Sampson and his wife Jenni and John Sampson and his wife Heather and one sister; Priscilla Guerra. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A US Military Honors Salute will be held the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Burial will be private.
