Obituary of Roger Gaire Roger J. Gaire, 81, of Morristown, passed away on June 24, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, July 1st at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950, followed by interment at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652. Visitation also will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Dangler Funeral Home. Born in Yonkers, NY, Roger lived the past 40 years in Morris Township, NJ. In addition to raising his family, Roger worked as a chemical engineer for Foster Wheeler Corporation for 45 years before retiring. Roger is survived by his sister Joan (George) Junghanns, brother Bob (Sandy) Gaire, two daughters, Susan (Erik Stavrand) Gaire, and Elizabeth (William) Schneider; three stepsons, Larry Sayette, Michael (Lisa Cherok) Sayette, and Richard (Heather) Sayette; and grandchildren, Katherine Gaire, Abigail Stavrand, Lydia Schneider, Alexander Sayette, Sophia Sayette, Julia Sayette, Leo Sayette, and Siena Sayette. Roger was the son of Paul and Margret Gaire. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Greater New York Chapter of the ALS Association (www.als-ny.org), or the Morris County Library Foundation (to be directed toward the Lenore Gaire Children’s Reading Fund) P. O. Box 405, Morristown, NJ 07963.
