Robert Bruce Green, of Viola, passed away suddenly, Friday, June 22, 2018, in the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He was 58. Robert was born September 29, 1959, in Boone County, Missouri. He served proudly in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. After retiring from the service, he went on to work as a technician for Proctor & Gamble in Dover, for the past 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Dover. In his free time, Robert enjoyed hunting deer and turkeys and collecting guns. He also liked to collect hats, especially camo, and do cooking , grilling, and playing around on the computer. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosita(Magno) Green; his sons, Anthony Raymond Green & wife, Brittney, of Magnolia, and Robert Ryan Green, of Viola. His mother, Annie L. Thornton, of Rocheport, Missouri; his sisters, Vivian Breedlove & husband, Larry, of Peoria, Arizona; and Cynthia Croy, & husband, Dennis, of Rocheport, Missouri; his granddaughter, Skylar Ensley, of Magnolia; and grandson, Hudson Ryan Green, who is on the way; as well as several nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will begin at 2 pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. , 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 2 hours before. Burial with full military honors will take place at 2 pm, Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
