Richard Luke “Dick” St. Mary, Jr., 84, of New Madrid, passed away June 9, 2018 at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid. He was born December 27, 1933 in New Madrid County, MO., to the late Richard Luke and Clara Mitchell St. Mary, Sr. On March 1, 1955 in St. Louis he was married to Carol Schuerenberg St. Mary, who survives of the home. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a U.S. Postal Letter Carrier for over 30 years, he was a former member of the New Madrid Jaycees, he served as Alderman for the City of New Madrid for 44 years. He was involved in youth baseball for many years and loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by; one brother, Herbert St. Mary and son-in-law, Greg Hall. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by; one son, Richard Luke St. Mary, III, two daughters, Susan Kim St. Mary Hall of New Madrid and Lori and Roger Kennedy of New Madrid, one brother Larry and Sherry St. Mary of Powell, OH., and one sister Norma Jean Blankenship of Cape Girardeau.
