Obituary for Rebecca Romero Rebecca Grace Romero, 22, of Missoula, MT died unexpectedly Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was born July 11, 1995 in Stockton, CA. to Merced and Donna Romero. She graduated from A.A. Stagg High School in Stockton and had just graduated from the University of Montana, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Biology. She was someone who was always focused on helping others and was a member of the Key Club at A.A. Stagg H.S. During her time at the University of Montana, she served as an Officer of the Wildlife Society, worked in the Wright Zoological Museum, and became a certified first responder. She had recently joined the Montana National Guard and was looking forward to becoming a Game Warden for the State of Montana. She is survived by her parents, Merced and Donna Romero, and her older sister Selena (Romero) Allen. Her ashes were spread in the mountains outside of Missoula, MT. An endowment in her memory is being created to benefit the Wright Zoological Museum and can directed to the University of Montana Foundation and the Rebecca Romero Endowment.
