Palmer Reid Cathcart Jr, 72 passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born in Savannah, Georgia October 16, 1945 to Palmer and Agnes Griffin Cathcart living in Savannah and Glennville most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from International Paper Company as a master Electrician. He enjoyed shrimping, woodworking and was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church. Cathcart of Glennville, GA Children, Sheila Long (John) of Manassas, VA Heather Cathcart of Tifton, GA Melanie Harris (Johnny) of Midway, GA Holly Baxter (David) of Glennville, GA Sister, Myrl Moneyhan (Bobby) of Savannah, GA Brother, Frank Carthcart (Mary) of Savannah, GA Seven Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Military Honors. Remembrances to: Ogeechee Area Hospice P.O.
