Olga Veronica Espinoza 1941 2018

Obituary for Olga Espinoza Olga Espinoza peacefully entered into eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday June 20, 2018. By her side to bless her home-going were all five of her children Donald, Myra, Rey, Mona and Lori, most of her grandchildren including her Steve, her sister Lita and daughter in-law Nelda. We are comforted by promises from our Lord that she is in Paradise because she proudly accepted Christ as her Savior. Waiting to greet her in Paradise were her Lady Bug (Carmen Resendez), her Mague (Margaret Gonzales) and her first-born grandson Steve Sifuentes. Our mother was born on July 23, 1941 in Ontario, California to James Espinoza and Marcelina Carrera Espinoza. Her younger years were spent in the Los Angeles areas of California, which is where her first 3 children were born. In 1970 she moved to Texas and had her 2 youngest daughters. From 1970 and on, Fort Worth, Texas is where she planted her roots and her legacy of 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren began. As she watched her family growing, she would proudly say, “I did this, all of this came from me!” Her pride of her family was always a main topic of her conversations, as told to us by her friends. We called Olga “Mom” but she is also lovingly known by a few other nick-names. Friends and family know her as Olga, Auntie Yogi, Auntie O, La Huera, and her friends from Baylor All Saints all called her “Mama”. But the names that were most endearing to her were Grandma and G-Ma. To know our mother, was to love our mother. Families that loved her unconditionally throughout the years are the families of the late Carmen Resendez, late Margaret Gonzales, Dolly Campos, and Sylvia and Arturo Cabrera, and Rachel Alafa all who came to be by her side, from near and far, during the most important time of her life. There are no words to express what that meant to our mother and to us. The things our mother liked she really, realllly liked. Some of those things were her long beautiful red hair, fresh fruit, dancing, novelas (don’t interrupt her from 7-10 pm), her witch’s brew (Hibiscus tea), Luis Miguel and John Wayne (she has a framed picture next to pictures of her family), her own cooking (cause it’s THAT good), acupuncture (we love you Kim), she loved giving nicknames, shoes with lots of bling, perfumes (especially in pretty bottles), hours of laughter and talking on the phone to her sister and niece, and she especially loved peacocks. Also, if you gave her a gift, you can bet that she still has it on display somewhere in her home. There are so many memories and stories of our mother that will keep us all laughing for years to come and we ask that everyone that loves her keep telling us stories of their times with our mother. Olga’s children are Donald Valenzuela, Jr. (Nelda), Ronnette Stinebaugh (Steve), Rey Rojas Sr. (Teresa), Ramona Perez and Loreen Herrera (Leo). In addition to her sons and daughters, her immediately family are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Steve Martinez (Emily and Brianna), Louis Davila (Danny and Andy), Isaac Perez, Rey Rojas, Jr. (Aveah and Rey III), Bernadette Luera (Mya, AJ, Jo’ciah, Harmony, Yazariah), Alex Rojas, Xavier Luera (Audrina, Vaeden, Kaeden), Shai Rodriguez (Natalia, Noah), Anthony Rojas, and Demires Herrera. Family in California and other states that our mother loves are her sister Lita (NT) and late brother in-law Ralph, brother and sister in law Peter and Lori and family, brother James, sister Dolores, niece Desi and family, nephews Ron and Don, and her Nubs (Dana). Celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 30th at 12 pm at Frontline Christian Fellowship 1408 NE 34th Street. Afficher cette page en : Français Traduire Désactiver pour : Anglais Options ▼
