Obituary for Norman “Cosmo” Comstock Sr. Norman Lee “Cosmo” Comstock, Sr., of Goliad, died, Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Victoria, TX. Cosmo was a Catholic, born October 16, 1946, in McCook, Nebraska to Pauline Kirkland and William H. Comstock. He was married for 48 years to Rosita Boncales Salondaguit until her death. He also was a Navy Veteran of 21 years. Cosmo was preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents and two siblings. Survivors include his son Norman Lee Comstock, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Elsa, grandsons Remy and Reese; his daughter Mary Ann Comstock-King and son-in-law Chris King, grandson Corey, granddaughters Jessica, Alexandria, Kayla and Carragan and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Dan, Don, and Jon and sisters Kathryn, JoAnn, Trish, Nancy and MaryAnne. Cosmo served active duty in the United States Navy from January 1964 to April 1985 retiring as an Aviation Electrician’s Mate, 1st Class on July 1, 1993. He was also an active member of the American Legion for 36 years. He enjoyed living on his land in Goliad, spending time with family and friends and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 21st at Grace Funeral Home in Goliad with a Rosary immediately following. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 22nd at Immaculate Conception Church – 238 Commercial Street Goliad.
