Mary Lee “Toot” Lollis Evans Belton Mary Lee “Toot” Lollis Evans, 87, widow of Dewey Estes “Shorty” Evans, died Wednesday at Hospice of the Upstate. Born in Belton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Madell Harvell Lollis. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are: sister, Myrtle Lollis Alewine of Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ben F., Leroy and Melvin Lollis and sisters, Evelyn Williams and Leona DeVall. Service will be held 10am Friday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church or Meals on Wheels. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
