Obituary for Mary Lee Brown Mary Lee Brown, age 84 of Gaylesville, passed away Wednesday, June 20th at her residence. Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday, June 22nd at Mt Zion Independent Church with Rev. Freddy Waldrop officiating; burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Travis Williams, Chris Williams, Josh Feltman, Steven Burleson, Michael Burleson, Dale James. Survivors include son, Ricky Barbara) Brown of Gaylesville; grandchildren, Cindy (Chris) Williams, Crystal (Josh) Feltman; great grandchildren, Travis, Salena Williams, Tanner, Elijah, Grayson Feltman; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Brown; brothers, Alton Yarbrough, JC Middlebrooks, Jerry Middlebrooks; sister, Sharon (Bitty) Busby and step-father, W.A. “Boots” Strawn. Mrs. Brown was a native of Dekalb county, the daughter of the late R.W. and Linnie Vaughn Yarbrough, she was a caregiver and a member of Mt. Zion Independent Church.
