Margaret A. Peters, 75, formerly of Weedsport, passed away May 27, 2018 in Englewood, Florida. Margaret was born in Auburn, NY on July 20, 1942 to the late Stewart A. and Anne Marie Walker Mead. Previously Margaret had been employed by Colombian Rope Company as a stenographer, The Credit Department at Sylvania, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Owasco Abstract and Title Company. She was a member of TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly), and loved bowling, shuffleboard, bingo, crossword puzzles and lunch with her friends. Margaret is survived by her son Michael (Kim) Dwello; her two granddaughters, Lisa Dwello and Amber Harris; her siblings, Judy (Bob) La Force, Stewart James (Carol) Mead, and Kathy Radka; her beloved kitties, Baxter and Blossom; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 11th from 3-5 p.m. in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr. Weedsport. Memorial Service to immediately follow at 5 p.m., burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Weedsport. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to Suncoast Humane Society and International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation.?
