Obituary for Maren Brooke MacMurray Maren Brooke MacMurray died unexpectedly on June 23, 2018 in Cottonwood Heights Utah at the age of 43. She was born in Boston Mass. June 25, 1974 to loving parents Maryann and Val MacMurray. She was the third child of five children and was very loved by her family. She graduated from East High in 1992, and completed some college courses. She furthered her career path as a Program Manager at Advance Manufacturing Technology. She enjoyed her work and was loved by those around her. She was witty, loved singing, gave the best hugs and made everyone around her feel important. Out of everything in her life, her greatest joy came from being a mom. Her children say she was an incredible loving person. She was a good employee, worked very hard and always kept going and never quit. They also added that she was brave, strong, adventurous and a wonderful friend to all. Maren is survived by her daughter Makaia Brooke MacMurray, her son Joshua Tony Peterson, and her immediate family; her mother Maryann. Siblings; Heidi (Charlie) Soper, Joshua MacMurray, Erika (Jesse) Jones, and Kai (Lindsey) MacMurray, Aunts and Uncles and many nieces and nephews. She married Rob Petersen in 2010 (div.) and raised his son Dylan as her own. She was preceded in death by her father Val Dan MacMurray whom she loved very much.
