Obituary for Kenneth Fischer Kenneth George Fischer, 91, of Greeley, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on May 26, 2018. Kenneth was born in Covington, OK to George and Viola Fisher on September 26, 1926. Kenneth graduated from Covington High School while being stationed in Guam for the Navy. He then attended Enid Business College for accounting. During this time he fell in love and married Mona Ruth Joel. (5/28/47) They had two daughters, Cheryl and Dena. Ken worked approximately sixteen years as a public accountant in Great Bend, KS. He purchased part interest in a drilling company which relocated the family to Lamar, CO. Ken later created a partnership for his own drilling company, L&F Drilling and R&W Mud and Supply. He sold the business after six years to retire and spend time traveling and playing golf with his wife. They moved to Greeley, CO for retirement to be closer to their eldest daughter, Cheryl. Ken always stayed active. He went to mud engineering school, shagged cars for various Greeley dealerships, and loved riding his Goldwing motorcycle with his wife and friends! Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Havens and Dena Fischer, granddaughters, Christi (Ken) Klein, Shannon Buckner, and five great-grandchildren. We love you and will greatly miss you! We are blessed to know you are back with Mom again. A graveside service will be held at 10:15 am on Thursday June 7, 2018 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
