Judith Lavonda Mashburn 1939 2018

Obituary for Judith Mashburn Judy Lavonda Mashburn, 79, went to be with her Lord, and reunited with her loving husband on June 2, 2018 at Mission St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Waynesville, she resided on Hart Road in Little River from 1976 until her death. She was the daughter of the late Pearson and Mary Burnette Blaylock. She was preceded in death by the best husband, daddy, daddy-in-law and papaw Junius Mashburn. She was also preceded by 11 brothers and sisters. She was a loving mama, mama-in-law, mamaw, sister and friend, and was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Julie Simpson and husband Nicky of Crab Creek Rd in Little River; son, Mark Mashburn and wife Lynn of Warrenton, GA; grandchildren, Jordan Sherman of Crab Creek Rd in Little River, and Ben and Kevin Mashburn; sisters, Bonnie Thompson and Margaret Blaylock of Waynesville; sister-in-law Ruth Watson of Drummonds, TN; numerous loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Enon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
