Obituary for Joy White (Baker) Joy Lou Baker White, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at New Life Deaf Church Hilldale Baptist with Rev. Corey Harrison officiating. Joy entered into this life on November 18, 1934 in Sylco, TN daughter of the late James and Bethel Arthur Baker. She was a member of New Life Deaf Church Hilldale Baptist. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Marion White. Survivors include her children, David Star (Glenda) Smith, Tina (Stephen) Lee, Gayle (Rod) Chaney, and Lisa (Wayne ) Carey; grandchildren, Nakisha Roland, Teahna Deal, Marshal Chaney, Christopher Chaney, Schuyler Chaney, Olivia Chaney, Cameron Chaney, Zachary Lee, Micah Lee, Nicholas Lee, Josiah Lee, Slate Lee, Thomas Carey, Travis Carey, and Abbigael Carey; great-grandchildren, Dayden, Drake, Daxton, Jackson, Lincoln, and Emmeline; nephew, Roy (Alice Faye) Smith, and many other nieces and nephews.
