Joseph “Joe” Rattler Jr. Joseph Mad Plume Rattler Jr., 64, passed away on May 18, 2018 in Browning, MT. He was born to Joseph “Mousie” and Joan (Lamott) Mad Plume Rattler on January 28, 1954 in Browning, MT. Joseph was raised in Browning and Blackfoot, graduating from high school in Browning. Joe married and later divorced Laura Goburt. They had three will-loved children: Elizabeth “Becky” Louise Rattler (Martinez), Carle Rae Rattler (Bender), and John Joseph Rattler. On April 18, 1988 Joe married Julieann “Jul” Fieldseth Barthel. They were blessed with three more children: Leo James Rattler, Jenna Jo Rattler (Running Wolf) and Lia Jean Rattler. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Joan Rattler; Brother Elmer Lee Rattler, sisters: Joyce Marie (Rattler) Reevis, Mary Margaret (Rattler) Bird, Kathleen Rattler, and Lucille Ann (Rattler) Hall. Joe is survived by his wife, Juliann Rattler, his children: Elizabeth “Becky” Martinez, Carle Bender, John Tattler, Leo Rattler, Jenna Running Wolf, and Lia Rattler; his brother, Richard “Dick” Rattler, his sisters: Verena and Monica Rattler, all of his adopted children, his grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews. A wake is being held at Glacier Homes Community Center, Rosary is at 7 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Little Flower Catholic Church. Mass is at 2PM Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
