Andy was born September 12, 1943 in Tallahassee, the first child of Grover and Ethel Reese. He graduated from Leon High School and Florida State University. Andy proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a long-time public servant, working many years at the former Florida Department of Criminal Justice and the Florida Department of Transportation, and retiring from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
