Reidsville, Mrs. Janet Stanfield, age 55, passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at Hospice Savannah. She was born in Miami on March 20, 1963 to James Robert and Margaret Currie Stanfield. She lived most of her life in Reidsville and retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. Mrs. Janet loved spending time with her family, and spending time at the ocean. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Stanfield. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Fennell (Michael Anderson) of Reidsville; brother and sisters in law, Billy and Faye Stanfield and Cynthia Stanfield all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Lexi, Layla, and Jack James all of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm with the Reverend Jeffrey Barnard officiating. Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Stanfield family.
