Obituary for James W Estep III James W. Estep III, “Jim”, of Burlington Township passed away at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly on Sunday, at the age of 87. A longtime area resi- dent, Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a court stenographer in the JAG Department. He went on to work for and retire from Fort Dix in the logistics depart- ment. Jim was known for his meticulous record keeping and organiza- tional skills. Jim’s atten- tion to detail served him well when he decided to pick up pen and ink art. Additionally Jim was a F&AM of Lodge 32 in Burlington and his skills served him well advanc- ing into his degrees of Free Masonary. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, his cats and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, who like many, waited a long time, but was able to see them finally win it all. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Estep. He is survived by his dear friend, Deborah and the late Don Searfoss and their family, as well as many cousins and friends. A visitation for Jim will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Ma- sonic Village Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Road, Bur- lington Township, where a Masonic Service will begin at 11 a.m. with a religious service to fol- low. Cemetery services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in his name to Ma- sonic Charity Foundation at the above address.
