Obituary of Irene Horvath Irene Horvath, 95, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Monroe Village Health Care Center in Monroe. Mrs. Horvath was born in Perth Amboy to the late Michael and Rose Kolchak and had lived all of her life in Perth Amboy before moving to Whiting nineteen years ago. Irene was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Most Holy Name Of Jesus Parish-Our Lady Of Hungary Church in Perth Amboy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 2009, and by two brothers Michael and George Kolchak. Surviving are her daughter: Rosemarie Rodefeld of Hightstown, two grandchildren Lisa and husband Joseph Budzinski and Mark and wife Sall Rodefeld, four great grandchildren, Sofia and Luke Rodefeld and Thomas and Cameron Budzinski and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass at the Our Lady of Hungary RC Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held from 9 am to 10 am Monday morning at the funeral home.
