Plainfield-Helen I. Kenyon, 93, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018 at Colonial Health & Rehab in Plainfield, CT. Helen was born and raised in London, England. Helen married her late husband Russell J. Kenyon during World War II, then moved to the USA. For many years Helen was employed at local nursing facilities, retiring from Colonial Health in her late 70’s. Helen leaves… Read More » her 4 daughters, Ursala Pussinen (Len) of Plainfield, CT, Daphne Heon (Don) of Tellico Plains, TN, Brenda Massot (Volker) of Tellico Plains, TN and Wendy Kenyon of Abingdon, VA. Helen was predeceased by her son Robert J. Kenyon and grandson Joshua N. Pohronezny, both passing away on April 9, 2018. Helen leaves 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a brother Edward Hopson (Anne Crudas) of London, England and numerous other relatives in the UK. Respecting the wishes of Helen there will be no public services, burial is private. Honoring Helen, donations may be made to the Plainfield VFW Auxiliary of which Helen was a member.
