Obituary for Gregory A. Brown Gregory A. Brown, age 71 of Brookville, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018. He had retired after 34 years of service with Delta Airlines. Gregg enjoyed spending time with his family, his circle of Hot Rod buddies, air show friends, and boating family. Gregg owned “U Name It” custom boat and vehicle lettering after his retirement and enjoyed spending time at the boat docks making boat names look sharp. He was the definition of a true “Handy Man” and could fix and build anything. Gregg was also proud of his service to the U.S. Army. Anyone who had the pleasure to know him, understood he was a prankster and true funny man with a big heart. Gregg will be missed by his family more than words can express. Gregg is survived by his wife of 38 years: Cynthia (Hall) Brown, daughters: Billie (Dan) Baker of Ludlow Falls, Mindy (Matthew) Weschler of NC, grandchildren: Hannah Weschler, Drew Weschler, Melina Lucente, brother: Denny Brown of Troy, mother-in-law: June Hall (Harlan Helgeson) of Brookville, brother-in-law: Dan Hall of Ludlow Falls, sister-in-law: Susan Hall of IN, niece: Tammy (Brad Manning) Hall, nephew: Kurt Hall, great niece: Kaya Hurst, other relatives, friends, special pet: Parker and big doggies: Zip, Jack and Rio. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Bess Brown, father-in-law: Albert Hall Sr. and brother-in-law: Albert Hall Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Chaplain Richard Fitzwater officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
