Obituary of Gerald Lapp Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Lapp, 69, of Greenwood, DE passed peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Lankenau Hospital in PA. Born on August 1, 1948; he was the son of the late Carlton Lapp and Norma Willey. Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife Amy W. Lapp. Jerry was a veteran of the US Navy and served aboard the USS Raleigh. He was a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was an avid billiard/pool player. Jerry was a member of the Seaford Moose. He was well loved by his extended family and friends. Gerald is survived by his daughter, Kimberly D. Lapp and her husband Richard Smith, II of Salisbury and two grandsons, Joshua Nutter of Elmira, NY and Aiden Smith of Salisbury. A celebration of life will be held at the Seaford Moose on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Please contact the family or one of his billiard friends for a date and time.
