Frank J Pastore 1935 2018

Obituary for Frank Pastore Frank J. Pastore Age 82, of Horseheads, and formerly of Watkins Glen, passed away June 16, 2018. Frank was born September 20, 1935 in Watkins Glen, the son of the late James and Rose Pastore. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and Bryant and Stratton Business Institute of Buffalo. He also served in the US Army. Throughout his career he worked for Westinghouse Corp., Seneca Foods Corp. and Sunrise Industries. Frank was an avid fan of the Yankee’s, Giant’s, Syracuse, local Little League Baseball, Small Fry Football, and Elementary School Baseball. Frank was predeceased by his step-son, Mark Mihalko. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Roberts) Pastore; two sons, Frank (Colleen) Pastore and Jeffrey (Rose) Pastore, all of Watkins Glen; grandsons, Brad (Erica) Pastore of Saratoga, Daniel Pastore of Montour Falls, Adam Pastore of Watkins Glen, and step-grandson,Jason Smith of Watkins Glen, step-granddaughter, Erica Smith of Corning, dear family friend, Patty Rekczis, and many cousins. Frank was a communicant of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church. At Frank’s request there will be no calling hours. A graveside committal service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, NY State Rt. 14 in Watkins Glen, on Friday (June 22) at 3:00pm.
