Emma Marie Brady 1927 2018

Obituary of Emma Marie Brady Marie passed away peacefully at Wesley Manor/ Journey’s Hospice. Born in Carbondale, PA to Patrick and Emma (Grier) Brady. Marie attended Ben Franklin schools in Carbondale and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Marywood College, Scranton, PA. Marie entered the order of the Sisters of IHM/ Scranton. After many years in the IHM Community, Marie taught for more than 25 years at the New Jersey Ave School/ Atlantic City, NJ. Marie was a beloved teacher/ mentor who touched many lives during her career at New Jersey Ave. School. No stranger to hard work, Marie also worked many years in the Atlantic City Casino Industry. Marie was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers Paul and David, and her sister-in-law Maureen (Chellino) Brady. Marie is survived by her nieces Erin (Brady) Newell (husband Paul), Kelly (Brady) Pelkowski (husband David). The pure joys of her life were her nephews and nieces: Sean Pelkowski (wife Emily), Mary Pelkowski, Brady Newell, Ryan Newell, Charlotte Pelkwoski, and Julia Pelkowski. A mass of remembrance will be held Sunday, June 10th at 10am at Holy Trinity Parish: Blessed Sacrament Church, Margate, NJ.
