Darleen B Jensen Gardner 2018

Darleen Gardner (Jensen), age 97, passed away at the home of her son on June 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gardner in 2006. She was the last of her immediate family, having descended from Danish pioneer settlers in South Dakota and Iowa. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and the many trips they went on with their square dancing group of friends. She also enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Darleen is survived… Read More » by her son Wayne and his wife Judy, of Sparks, MD, and her daughter Judith and her husband Michael Cook of Westminster, MD. Also, five grandchildren, their spouses, and eleven great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be private. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Westminster, 65 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Westminster, Gilchrist Hospice, or the Anatomy Board of Maryland.
