Obituary for Curtis Ray Reeves Curtis Ray Reeves, 89 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died June 23, 2018, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. Born February 21, 1929, in Baskin, Louisiana, he was the son of George Reeves and Minnie Richardson Reeves. Curtis married Helen Schepis Sherrouse on February 14, 1984, in Brenham, Texas. He was a former employee of Brenham State School and a member of American Legion Post 29. Curtis served our country in the Army during Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife Helen of the home; children Stuart Reeves of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Claudia Reeves of Richland Hills, Texas, Doyle Reeves and wife Vicki of Burton, Texas and Amber Reeves Fletcher of Richland Hills, Texas; blended family Wayne Sherrouse and wife Kami of Brenham, Texas, Phyllis Sherrouse Homeyer and husband Ron of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Luke Sherrouse and wife Merlyn of Brenham, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
