Segar William R. “Bill” age 83 of Monroeville passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Arlene Segar. Loving father of Mark, Craig (Renee), Reid (Lynne), and Brett (Jamie) Segar; wonderful grandfather of Matthew, Madison, Emily, Benjamin, Anna, Sophia, Lexi, & Maci; brother of Norma Jack, Don, Della Underwood, Richard, Linda Reay, and the late Annabelle, and infant, Dennis Segar. Bill was a former Gateway School Board Member for 28 years, a former board member of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for 22 years and an active member and former treasurer of the Monroeville United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Monroeville Rotary Club and past district governor of Rotary District 7300. Bill was also involved in the Monroeville Baseball Association for over 40 years. Friends will be received Sunday 1-5 PM and Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Services will be held at the Monroeville United Methodist Church Tuesday, 10:30 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family kindly suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Monroeville Rotary Club, PO Box 368, Monroeville, PA 15146 for a scholarship granted to a Gateway High School Graduate.
