Betty L. (Selesky) Horner, 82, of Unity Township, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born March 24, 1936 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Wilk) Selesky. Betty was a member of the former Lycippus United Methodist Church and was a longtime resident of Mt. View Specialty Care Center, Unity Township. She loved to play guitar and the accordion, and had a passion for singing and bowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Horner on May 13, 2016; her daughter, Jacqueline L. Horner; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Horner; and her sister, Wanda Campbell. She is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Horner, Jr., and Todd E. Horner and wife Brandy K., all of Latrobe; two grandchildren, Hanna K. and Dawson T. Horner; her brother, Kenneth Selesky and wife Nancy, of Pleasant Unity; her sister-in-law, Shirley Ankney, of Unity Township; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday in the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Kimberly L. Foos officiating. Interment will follow in Lycippus Community Cemetery, Unity Township.
