Obituary of Agnes Reeves Agnes Smith Reeves, 90, wife of Loring Lee “DK” Reeves, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Garden City. Born on September 10, 1927, in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late William Smith and the late Frances Jones Smith. Mrs. Reeves was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her family but most of all she enjoyed serving the Lord. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Loring Lee “DK” Reeves; one daughter, Wanda Coleman (Rick) of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Scott Pierce of Georgetown and Lindsay Reeves of Florida; one step granddaughter, Jessica Coleman; five great grandchildren to include Michael Pierce and Gavin Pierce both of Georgetown; and two special nieces, Carol Bessinger (Jimmy) of Georgetown and Sandra Mackey (Eddie) of James Island. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Reeves. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to NHC Healthcare South Wing staff and Dr. Gayle Brook for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Reeves.
