Obituary for Steven “Stevie” Cook Steven “Stevie” Wayne Cook, 44, of Bunker Hill, WV passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Steven was born on April 7, 1974, the son of Linda Owings and the late Michael Robson Cook. Steven was the owner of Flagstaffers LLC, a traffic control company in Northern Virginia. He was an avid sports fan – especially for The Boston Red Sox and Washington Redskins. He was a baseball card collector and a dog-lover. He referred to himself as the “The Dogfather”. Steven was devoted to his family and a proud Pappy to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Fike Cook; three daughters, Jessica Springs and husband Chad of Bunker Hill, WV, Amanda Higman of Inwood, WV, and Samantha Cook at home; four grandchildren; Gauge Jenkins, Paige Jenkins, Danielle Higman and Olivia Springs; two brothers; Lawrence Owings and Jonathan Gomez; two sisters; Andra Shirley and Faith Cook; nine fur babies, Daisy, Dexter, Teddy, Little Bear, Scrappy, Fluffy Flufferton, Maggie, Sophia and Little Guy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother; Michael Cook, Jr. and one fur baby, Buddy. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM followed by a service at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Order Flowers
