Wanda worked for thirty years at and retired from Goodyear Aerospace, a company that helped build the Goodyear Blimp, the first rocket that went to space, and the Blackbird aircraft. She had a gift for gab and loved to converse with anyone and everyone – if you asked her how she was doing, you’d better have been prepared to discuss a while. She was a tough lady who lost most of her hearing from Scarlet fever at age five, and had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer just a few years ago. Her only hobbies were her job, taking care of her family, and occasionally a trip to Wendover. She loved a rainy day and gray skies. She was preceded in death by her husbands. Her wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service may be held at a later date.
