Obituary for William Larry Brown – Funeral services for William Larry Brown, of Athens are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Athens. William Larry Brown was born January 14, 1948 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of William Aaron Brown and Edith Brown. Larry moved with his family to Texas in the early 60’s from Louisiana. He was a member of Bois D’ Arc Baptist Church for more than 10 years. He loved hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his babies. He was a loving son, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Brown; sister, Judi Brown; brother, Don Brown. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Janice Brown, parents William and Edith Brown; four daughters, Lisa Brown, Jennifer Brown, Becca Brownlow and husband Marcus, Stephanie Mclaughlin and husband Bobby; two sons, Michael and Victoria Crawford, Stephen and Teresa Crawford; one sister, Nancy Oberg and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
