Obituary of Lloyd Ewell Lloyd Hilton Ewell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home in Bedford, TX. He was born on October 6, 1933 in Marin County, Mississippi. He was a 1952 graduate of Bogalusa High School in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was in the Army from 1952-1955. Lloyd was a Police Officer at the Bogalusa Police Department. He retired from the police department and moved to Texas. He then worked as a Mail Carrier at the Dallas Lakewood Post Office until retirement in 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Lillie Ewell; brother, Leo Ewell; sister, Christina Ewell; Children, Harrell McClung, Robin Ewell, Evette Ewell. The memorial will be on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1:00pm at Forest Ridge Funeral Home- Memorial Park Chapel 8525 Mid-Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, TX 76182. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Annette Ewell; son, Michael Lloyd Ewell; Daughter, Renee Ewell Mosley; step-son, Richard Palmer; Grandchildren, Layla Hudson, Michael Palmer, Carrie McClung, Sarah Jones, Caitlin Ewell, Mandy Mosley; Great Grandchildren, Austin McClung, Adrianne Mielke, Madison Aaron, Tara Aaron, Douglas Adams. Many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lloyd’s final resting place will be at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
